When I Die 02:43
I don't wanna be remembered, I just want a few kind words when I die I want you to put me right where I was born put me in the dirt with the worms where I can return when I die I want you to put me right where I was born i don't wanna make an impact, I just want my soul to soar when I die I want you to put me right where I was born put me in the dirt with the worms where I can return when I die I want you to put me right where I was born I don't need religion, I'll let mother nature make her own decision when I die I want you to put me right where I was born put me in the dirt with the worms where I can return when I die I want you to put me right where I was born

good and bad no difference in hindsight its caving it the tunnel at the end of the light stuck inside born into body and mind lock the door the tunnel at the end of the light i cant seem to finish what i start relationships are not for the faint of heart wage a war against our own ally splits the scene apart got an achin in my heart oh it hurts to be estranged by such a drunken fight people waving in the tunnel at the end of the light i cant seem to live with us apart relationships are not for the faint of heart i am walking right but the tunnel is too bright i am stuck inside the tunnel at the end of the light up all night hot with hostility and strife no dreams tonight the tunnel at the end of the light i look out future black as the night its alright the tunnel at the end of the light i can't seem to get out of the dark relationships are not for the faint of heart i am walking right but the tunnel is too bright i am stuck inside the tunnel at the end of the light

Open Eyes 02:41
STANDING UP FOR WHAT I BELIEVE IN LOOKING AROUND I SEE IM MY ONLY FRIEND RAINING DOWN ON A FULL MOON THE SUN IS SHINING IN A DARK ROOM THEY'RE ALL ASS BACKWARDS HOLD PASSWORDS IN OUR MINDS CHEAP TWO SCREW BRACKET HANGS MY PRIZE IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL SITS A MAN THAT DIES FEEL THE SHIRT RISE OFF MY SKIN THE PEOPLE AROUND ARE LIGHT WITHIN I FAIL TO SEE THE GOOD AT TIMES IN LIFE ITSELF THERE IS NO RHYME REASON ENOUGH TO BELIEVE TOO MUCH TO CONCIEVE I FOR ONE HAVE A LOT TO LEARN THOUGH IVE SEEN THE LIGHT, NOT A TIME TO BURN. DIVIDE LIFE BY OPEN EYES DIG A SPACE WHERE YOUR DEATH LIES.

Philosophy 02:32
I give you warmth, light, no there is no fright under the earth, moon, no i spoke too soon vibrations finely grained at the end to jump out and gained again by a leaf of a tree or a hundred million fish in the sea. I am the sun, you can look up to me. another run at the same philosophy you think you've branched out, but you are just a sprout there is more to be, trust in what you see. you work at night and then you sleep during the light you'll live again, crying, this one is slowly dying. I am the sun, you can look up to me another run at the same philosophy

Taken Away 02:49
questions left unanswered forever somebody knows like seeing water flowing down in a black hole don't know where it goes i walk down the road carry on my mind another day i know that you are in a better place but there's still so much to say she was just taken away life is just a passage anyway this is some strange kind of nightmare you were so close to me like a tree dropping it's biggest branch i fall to my knees i am slowly picking up the pieces of what i can save this is going to haunt me until i fall to my grave she was just taken away life is just a passage anyway

the hand that I kissed, I know, is now bone the love that we had together is now, forever, written in stone when I think about you I cry but now your mind can rest and your spirit can fly. they say god gives all of his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers I'm not strong but I know what I want and so I'm holding on. to those who say there was no love, I've never loved somebody so much I wear your coat, it keeps me warm I wander through the woods wondering where you are. they say god gives all of his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers I'm not strong but I know what I want and so I'm holding on. I know you're out there somewhere in the morning heat I saw your spirit walking down the street. I know you're out there somewhere light on your feet. when I die our memories will meet.

I'm just a sucker for a biological trick called love but I know it's only lust. what can I trust? definitions are written but only by us. I'm just looking for you and I'm down. I'm slowly losing my youth. I'm just a product of a psychic's psychedelic vision. what can I say? she says we met that way. All connections are hidden until they come out and play. I'm just looking for you and I'm down I'm slowly losing my youth I'm just a product of somebody else's birthday sex oh what a treat and now it's up to me to prove my own destiny I'm just looking for you and I'm down I'm slowly losing my youth I'm wondering just how much they think a man can take in this world of make believe, make a believer out of me that there is more than what I see. I'm just a lookin for you and I'm down I'm slowly losing my youth

about

Swell

like a river when it rains
and a face when it cries

Recorded at Springvale Farm in Rockville in the summer of '21. I played drums, bass, guitar and sang. It was the first time I've been able to record this way. Thank you to Ted, Syed, Ashley, Tim, West, Billy, Gordon, Trevor, Danny, my family and everybody else who was there for me during the hardest time of my life, you saved me and without you, this album wouldn't be possible. Protect each other. Enjoy this album loudly. Rock and Roll.

Dedicated to Kelley Brannon, a true revolutionary.
